Anusol Plus HC Suppositories contain hydrocortisone to reduce inflammation and ease the discomfort of internal piles (haermorrhoids). They also contain other active ingredients that help calm irritation and soothe the itching associated with piles.

Suitable for

It is suitable for adults over the age of 18 years and elderly.

How to use

This medicine is not recommended for children under 18 years of age.

Do not take orally.

Adults and the elderly: Insert one suppository into the back passage (anus) far enough so that it doesn’t slip out, at night, in the morning and after each bowel movement. Do not use more than 3 suppositories a day. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days.

• Wash anal area and dry gently with a soft towel before using this medicine.
• Remove plastic cover from the suppository before use.
• Wash your hands before and after using Anusol.
• The suppository will melt after insertion.

DO NOT EXCEED THE STATED DOSE.

Hazards and Cautions

Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist.

Seek advice before using if you are breast feeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or suffer from allergies.

Possible side effects

Burning, redness, irritation, itching, or pain may occur on application. This does not usually last a long time, so if this lasts longer than a few days.

Storage

Do not store above 25°C.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Active ingredients

Each suppositories contain Hydrocortisone acetate 10mg, Zinc oxide 296mg, Bismuth subgallate 59mg, Balsam peru 49mg, Bismuth oxide 24mg and Benzyl benzoate 33mg.
