Care Pholcodine Linctus is for symptomatic relief of dry or irritating coughs.

Suitable for

It is suitable for adults, the elderly and children over 12 years.

How to use

SHAKE THE BOTTLE BEFORE USE

Do not give to children under 12 years old.

Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: Take 1 or 2 x 5ml spoonfuls. Repeat after 4 hours if required, but not more than 4 doses in 24 hours.

Do not take with any other cough and cold medicine. 

DO NOT EXCEED THE STATED DOSE.

Hazards and Cautions

This medicine may cause drowsiness. If you are affected do not drive or operate machinery.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist.

Seek advice before using if you are breast feeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or suffer from allergies.

Possible side effects

Feeling or being sick, constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, feeling excited or confused, rash, failure to cough up phlegm.

Storage

Do not store above 25°C.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Each 5ml contains pholcodine monohydrate 5mg.
