Covonia Herbal Mucus Cough Syrup is a traditional herbal medicinal product used for relief of the symptoms of mucus coughs and colds based on traditional use only.

Suitable for

It is suitable for adults, the elderly and children over 12 years.

How to use

SHAKE THE BOTTLE BEFORE USE

Not recommeded for children under 12 years.

Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: Take 2x 5ml spoonfuls every 4 hours if required but not more than 4 doses (40ml) in any 24 hours.

Do not take with any other cough and cold medicine. Avoid alcoholic drink.

Do not use for more than 7 days. DO NOT EXCEED THE STATED DOSE.

Do not take this medicine if you:

• Are an alcoholic
• Have breathing difficulties
• Have raised pressure in your head
• Have heart, liver or kidney problems
• Are allergic to anything in this medicine

Hazards and Cautions

Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist.

Do not use if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.

Possible side effects

Feeling or being sick, diarrhoea, hear problems, low blood potassium level

Storage

Do not store above 25°C. Use within 28 days of first opening.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Active ingredients

Each 5ml dose contains 0.007ml liquid extract Ipecacuanha root, 0.125ml liquid extract Liquorice root, 0.26ml liquid extract Indian Squill bulb.
