Day Nurse Colds & Flu Liquid has been specially formulated to provide a complete daytime cold treatment by providing relief from major cold and flu symptoms including:

• headache
• blocked or runny nose
• tickly cough
• shivers, aches and pains
• sore throat pain

Suitable for

It is suitable for adults aged 16 years and over.

How to use

Shake the bottle for at least 10 seconds before use.

Adults aged 16 years and above: 30ml every 4 hours up to a maximum of 4 times within 24 hours, if needed. Always use the measure cup provided and clean after use.

• Allow at least 4 hours between doses
• Do not take more than 3 doses (90ml) in any 24 hours if you are taking a night-time dose of a paracetamol-containing product at bedtime
• Always use the lowest effective amount to relieve your symptom
• Do not take for more than 7 days
• Do not take more medicine than the leaflet tells you to
• Do not take if you are under 16 years
• Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing products
• Do not take with any other flu, cold or decongestant product

Hazards and Cautions

Do not drive if the medicine makes you feel dizzy.

Avoid drinking alcohol whilst taking this medicine.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist.

Seek advice before using if you are breast feeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or suffer from allergies. 

Possible side effects

Nervousness, difficulty sleeping, anxiety, tremor, nausea and vomiting, dizziness and sweating, dry mouth may occasionally occur

Storage

Do not store above 25°C.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Active ingredients

Each 30ml of medicine contains paracetamol 1000mg, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 60mg and pholcodine 10mg.
