Paracetamol 500mg Capsules are used to relieve mild to moderate pain including headache, migraine, tension headache, toothache, back ache, rheumatic and muscle pains, period pains and sore throat. It is also an anti-pyretic used to reduce fever, aches and pains of colds and flu.

Suitable for

It is suitable for adults and children over 12 years.

How to use

Do not give to children under 12 years of age.

Adults and children over 16 years: take one or two capsules every four to six hours as needed. Do not take more than 8 capsules in 24 hours.

Children 12 – 15 years of age: take one capsule every four to six hours as needed. Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours.

Swallow the capsules with a glass of water. Wait at least 4 hours between doses.

Do not take other paracetamol containing products whilst taking this medicine.

DO NOT EXCEED THE STATED DOSE.

Hazards and Cautions

Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist.

Seek advice before using if you are breast feeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or suffer from allergies.

Possible side effects

Skin rash or peeling or mouth ulcers, difficulty breathing, unexplained bruising or bleeding.

Storage

Do not store above 25°C.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
