Sominex Herbal Tablets are traditional herbal medicinal products used for the temporary relief of sleep disturbances based on traditional use only.

Suitable for

It is suitable for adults and elderly.

How to use

For oral use. Swallow the tablets whole with water, do not chew.

Not recommended for use in children or adolescents under 18 years old.

Adults and the elderly: two tablets, 1 hour before you go to bed.

As the effects of this product may not occur immediately, it should be taken continuously for 2-4 weeks. If symptoms worsen or persist after 4 weeks consult your doctor, pharmacist or qualified healthcare practitioner.

The effects of this product may be increased by alcohol. Excessive use of alcohol should therefore be avoided.

Hazards and Cautions

These tablets might cause drowsiness which can persist into the following day. If affected do not drive or operate machinery.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist.

Seek advice before using if you are breast feeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or suffer from allergies.

Possible side effects

Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea (feeling sick) and stomach cramps have been reported with Valerian root preparations.

Storage

Do not store above 25°C.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Active ingredients

34mg of extract (as dry extract) from hop strobile (humulus lupulus L.)(4-6:1), extraction solvent: methanol 30% (v/v).

30.8mg of extract (as dry extract) from valerian root (valeriana officinalis L.)(4.5-6:1), extraction solvent: ethanol 60% (v/v).

18.2mg of extract (as dry extract) of passion flower herb (passiflora incarnata L.)(3-7:1), extraction solvent: ethanol 70% (v/v).
