Description

Woodward’s Gripe Water is an antacid and antiflatulent product. It is used to relieve griping pain or waves of severe abdominal pain (infant colic) in babies, due to trapped air in the tummy. It is alcohol free, colour free & sugar free; contains oil of dill herb and sodium hydrogen carbonate. Dill oil warms and relaxes the tummy, breaking down trapped air bubbles. Sodium hydrogen carbonate neutralises acid in the baby’s tummy. The results are usually a resounding burp.

Suitable for

It can be given to babies from 1 to 12 months.

How to use

SHAKE THE BOTTLE BEFORE USE.

Not to be used by babies up to 1 month old.

This medicine is only for babies from 1 to 12 months old:

• 1-6 months old: one 5ml spoonful
• 6-12 months old: two 5ml spoonful
• Given during or after a feed.
• Do not use more than 6 times in 24 hours.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist.

Storage

Store below 25°C.

Use within 14 days after first opening.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Terpenesless dill seed oil 2.3mg/5ml and sodium hydrogen carbonate 52.5mg/5ml.
